Born and raised in Montana, Kay decided to move to Denver Colorado in 2020 for a more open queer community and the brewing industry.

After touring in multiple bands for 5 years right out of high school (and writing all the lyrics), Kay finally found their non-binary identity and continues to advocate for them.

Being an avid horror fan, Kay decided to start writing a horror book dedicated to the queer community and the possibility that horror doesn't have to belong in metaphors and confusing plots.

Kay is a brewer, author, and musician residing in Denver, Colorado with their partner, two cats and a pup.
